My favorite author is Dennis Lehane, my favorite of his works would be Coronado, it is a collection of short stories.I have read all of his books and I have loved them all. Some of his books that are popular that have been made into movies that won oscars are Shutter Island, Mystic River and Gone Baby Gone. Recently the films The Drop and Live by Night have been released in hollywood and both are also base on his books.

For me, My favorite author is Tana French. Not much of a mystery/ thriller type of book reader but her's keep me wanting to find out what happens next. Also, all of her books have a character from the previous book in them eve though they aren't series.

My favorite author is Cassandra Clare. I just love all of her wrks, especially, "The Mortal Instruments" series. She has the ability to write about darkness and still you'll end up loving it. It's weird, I know.

When I was in my teen years I love Francine Pascal, author of "The Sweet Valley Twins" series. I got so inlove with Elizabeth and Jessica (the twins in the story) that me and my mom (who introduced me to reading) would always look for a copy at every bookstore we came at to. Upto this point I still look for books a little older of that series. Then when I got and out of boredom, I grabbed one of my mother's collection of Daniel Steel's novels and have fallen head over heels inlove with her, with her way and technique of writing her stories.

That would depend on what kind of book it is. If romance novels and etc, I'll recommend Julie Garwood, Judith McNaught, Nora Roberts. Young Adult fiction books of course JK Rowling. Vampires and such definitely Anne Rice for me.
