The Book that inspired me on the path of Meditation

Well, the book" The Art Of Living" is a book that was recommended to me by a very dear friend of mine.I would say that after reading the book i was very inspired to follow the path of Meditation. Over the years i have been immensely benefited by this book. This book describes in detail about a meditation technique called Vipassana. This path to self awareness is extraordinary in its simplicity. Based on the lectures and writings of the great Vipassana teacher S.N. Goenka, this book serves as a guide to everyone who is thinking about joining the course of Vipassana. This technique has been followed and practiced by thousands of its followers around the World. I would say that every person should make it a point to read this book once and i would highly recommend it to all.

Wow, I have heard of the Vipassana technique before, from someone close to me that practices yoga and meditation. It seemed so difficult! If this book explains it as you just described, it would be marvelous.

It's actually my fist time to hear about this technique. The name Vipassana alone is quite interesting. I think I would need to read it as I need to have a peace of mind.
